With regard strengthening the management capacity of the Ministry of Education's (MINED), important progress have been made during 2016, particularly on the design and implementation of a national system for the assessment of students' learning outcomes and the project is now focusing on the implementation of a Planning, Monitoring and information System that will allows the institution to collect, process and report statistical information. Additional financing (AF) and an extension of the closing date has been requested by MINED, which is currently being processed.
