Amendment to the Letter Agreement between the Government ofNorway and the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International
Development Association concerning the Iraq Trust Fund (TF No TF053167)
Dear Mr. Gjelstad:
1.    We refer to the Letter Agreement between the Government of Norway (the
"Donor") and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("IBRD") and
the International Development Association ("IDA") (collectively, the "Bank") concerning
the World Bank Iraq Trust Fund (TF No. 053167) (the "Trust Fund") dated May 22,
2004, as amended (the "Agreement").
2.    Pursuant to recent consultations between the Bank and the Donor, the Bank
proposes to amend paragraph 13 of the Annex to the Administration Agreement to extend
the termination date. Accordingly, first sentence of paragraph 13 of the Annex to the
Administration Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"13. Termination
Unless otherwise agreed by the Donors and the Bank, the Trust Fund arrangement
provided for hereunder will terminate on the earlier of: (i) December 31, 2014; or (ii)
such date as the Trust Fund resources will have been fully disbursed."
3.    All other terms of the Administration Agreement shall remain the same.
4.    The Bank will disclose this amendment letter and related information on this
Trust Fund in accordance with the World Bank Policy on Access to Information.

5.    We propose that this letter shall constitute an amendment to the Administration
Agreement between the Bank and the Donor. Please confirm your acceptance to the
foregoing, on behalf of the Donor, by signing and dating the two originals, retaining one
original for your records and returning the other original to the Bank. Upon receipt by
the Bank of the original amendment countersigned by you, this amendment will become
effective as of the date of the countersignature.
