AIDITORS' REPORT The Director National lydrology Project National Institute of Hydrology Roorkee 247667, Uttarakliand Report on the Proieet Financial Statement We have audited the accompanving financial statement of the "National Ilydrology ProJect", National Institute of lHydrology, Roorkee financed under world bank which comprises the statement of sources and application of funds and reconciliation of (laims to total application of funds for te financial year 2020-21. These statement are the responsibility of the Project Management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on their accompanving financial statement based on our audit. We conducted our audit in accordance with the auditing standards generally accepted n India. These standard required that we plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable Assurance about whether the financial statement is frec from the material misstatement. An audit includes examining, on a test basis. evidence supporting the anount of disclosure in the financial statements. It also includes assessing the accounting principles used and significant estimate made by management as well as evaluating the overall statement presentation. We believe that our audit provides a reasonable basis for our opinion. In our opinion the financial statement present fairlv in all the material respeets, the sources and application of funds of the project for the year ended 3 Ist March 2021 in accordance wvith Government of India's accounting standards.
