The remaining 75 of microgrants are expected to be disbursed by the current project closing date at the end of March 2021. As the COVID-19 pandemic has curtailed some activities and led to some delays, the Government has agreed that AKFK will submit a request to extend the closing date to allow sufficient time for the microgrants to be fully disbursed, activities completed and final evaluation undertaken to more fully capture results under the project.
