The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic (Mof) continues successfully implementing the project, A well-established Kyrgyz Ministry of Finance’s Project Implementation Unit (PIU) is responsible to perform the fiduciary oversight, which includes both - procurement and financial management functions. The PIU has facilitated following actions: local consultant was hired for developing Public Procurement Development Strategy 2016-2020. International Consulting Company was hired for developing advanced training course for procurement specialists. All training modules for advanced training course developed. Trainers of the Training Center under MoF was trained by the Consulting Company. Pilot advanced trainings for procurement specialists successfully finished. International Consulting Company for institutional framework was hired in May 2016. Members of the Complaints Review Commission and PPD`s Secretariat were trained by the international consultant. The next study tour for the members of the Complaints Review Commission will be conducted in Poland.
