Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project Objective? No Overall Ratings Name Previous Rating Current Rating Progress towards achievement of PDO Moderately Satisfactory Moderately Satisfactory Overall Implementation Progress (IP) Moderately Satisfactory Moderately Satisfactory Implementation Status and Key Decisions The PDO continues to stay relevant and unchanged, and the project is well placed to achieve it. Pace of implementation is satisfactory. Project activities in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have picked up. The project is disbursing well (43% disbursed), has already realized some indicators (e.g. number of master trainers trained - 124% of target achieved), and is on track to realizing other indicators (e.g. number of digital products/services offered – 60% of target achieved; number of members trained - 40.5% of target achieved). 15 digital training modules with quizzes to strengthen retention of key concepts have been developed in Gujarati and Hindi languages, and are currently being translated to Khasi and Garo languages to improve access in the North-eastern states. Digitization of modules help in expanding the coverage of trainings, and have been especially useful during the pandemic to help conduct trainings virtually and adhere to the social distancing norms. Digital literacy initiatives under the project have helped beneficiaries access benefits and entitlements of the central and state government like the Atal Pension Yojana, RSBY as well as schemes and entitlements announced by the government as a relief measure for COVID. 26 e-sakhis (8.6% of target) have been identified and onboarded, in partnership with ROINET (Corporate Banking Correspondent). An additional 28 e-sakhis are currently undergoing training and are expected to be onboarded soon. The development of the SEWA android application ("SEWA App") has been commissioned, and the design of the basic app and wireframes completed.
