Since the revision of the Project’s Development Project Proforma (DPP) in September 2018 to allow alternative targeting process, there has been significant progress in rolling out to new locations. As of September 20, 2019, the total number of enrolled beneficiaries has increased to over 150,000 beneficiaries across 13 upazilas with associated cash transfers of $13 million paid out. 2. Following the Government’s request, the Project has been restructured to (a) cancel $50 million and (b) extend the closing date until June 2022. The closing date extension will enable the Project to continue enrollments across all 43 upazilas as originally designed, targeting up to 600,000 poor households, and allow for full disbursement of remaining Project funds.
