India: Andhra Pradesh Rural Inclusive Growth Project (Credit No. 5576-IN)
Amendment and Restatement ofthe Financing Agreement
We refer to: (i) the financing agreement between India ("Recipient") and the International
Development Association ("Association") dated November 16, 2015 (the "Original Financing Agreement");
and (ii) the project agreement of the same date between the Association and the State of Andhra Pradesh
("Original Project Agreement"), all for the Andhra Pradesh Rural Inclusive Growth Project ("Project")
We also refer to your letter dated October 23, 2018, requesting a restructuring of the Project, which
requires certain amendments to the Original Financing Agreement and the Original Project Agreement, and
revisions to the results framework.
We are pleased to inform you that the Association concurs with the request, and accordingly:
(i)    The Original Financing Agreement is being amended as set out in the Amended and Restated
Financing Agreement, Attachment 1 to this Letter; and
(ii)  the Results Framework, agreed further to Section II.A. 1 of Schedule 2 to the Original Financing
Agreement and Section II.A. 1 of the Schedule to the Original Project Agreement, is being
amended as set forth in Attachment 2 to this Letter.
The Original Project Agreement is similarly being amended and restated as reflected in the Amended
and Restated Project Agreement, attached to a letter to the State of Andhra Pradesh of even date herewith.
The Association will disclose this Letter and related information in accordance with the World
Bank's Policy on Access to Information. By agreeing to this Letter, the Recipient consents to disclosure of
this Letter and related information.
Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient by:
(i) countersigning and dating the corresponding form of confirmation set forth below; and
(ii) countersigning and dating the attached Amended and Restated Financing Agreement; and
returning one fully countersigned original of each of this Letter and the Amended and Restated Financing
Agreement to us.
