A grant of USD 5 million was also provided from the Food Price Crisis Response Trust Fund. The project has disbursed US$ 57.19 million (82% of funds) against total approved amount of USD 69.47 million. The closing date for the SSNP (original grant/ credit and additional financing) is September 30, 2013. Overall, the pace of implementation in this FY is moderately satisfactory due to delays in the implementation of Component 1b (Health and Nutrition Pilot) and Component 1c Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Report No: ISR9771 (Strengthening Safety Nets Systems) which pilot innovations linked to cash transfers. . Component 1a (Public Works programs) has completed implementation and achieved the planned targets and Component 2 (Support for Seed and Fertilizer) has achieved its targets for fertilizer and seed and will now focus on completing policy analysis. Under 1a cComponent 1a, the project has employed 99,858 workers through food/cash for work programs, providing food for approximately 549,220 beneficiaries across 21 food insecure districts.
