In particular, the workplan targets to complete the procurement for civil works and supervision engineers for Tushemisht road and Theth road by April 2019, and for Seman road in summer 2019. This plan requires substantial efforts from a dedicated project team at ADF including a project coordinator, an engineer, a procurement specialist, and a safeguards specialist. 6/19/2019 Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Regional and Local Roads Connectivity (P163239) In addition, starting the execution of civil works in Tushemisht and Seman roads would require acquisition of minimal land strips to accommodate the widening, sidewalks and bicycle lane. Although ADF’s estimated time for completing resettlement process is seven and a half months, we trust that the government can expedite this process and appropriate budget allocation to complete it by the time of works contract signature.
