This indicator is no longer able to capture the reality of Syrian employment. Another aspect of the project facing challenges is the registration and licensing for Syrian home-based businesses. However, the combined actions being made by Ministries and NGOs are expected to yield results in the near future. The other aspects of the project - investment climate reform, trade facilitation and investment promotion - are progressing very well and are on track or ahead of the targets.
