Progress has been observed in all components and subcomponents (Teacher Training, Textbook Development, National Large-scale Assessment, Communication) though still modest and in need of more time to take catch up. RGEP and ETEP PMUs are collaborating to build stronger synergies, especially in the area of teacher training to ensure quality training content and to avoid duplication of efforts. PMU will need to develop a long-term plan of the organizational, human resources and capacity development and coherent research agendas for the two research centers on curriculum development and assessment, building upon the expertise and knowledge generated from the technical assistance of the project.
