We also refer to the need to make some modifications to the Agreement. Capitalized terms used in this letter ("Amendment Letter") and not otherwise defined herein have the meaning ascribed to them in the Agreement. We are pleased to inform you that the World Bank agrees with your request and proposes to amend the Agreement as follows: I. The first paragraph of the Agreement is amended to read as follows: "In response to the request for financial assistance made on behalf of the Republic of Senegal ("Recipient"), I am pleased to inform you that the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association ("World Bank"), acting as administrator of grant funds provided by Australia, Finland, Germany, Norway, and Switzerland ("Donors') under the Multi-donor Trust Fund for the Extractive Global Programmatic Support ("EGPS"), proposes to extend to the Recipient, a grant in the following amounts, which in aggregate does not exceed eight hundred seventy-five thousand United States Dollars (U.S.$875,000) ("Grant') on the terms and conditions set forth or referred to in this letter agreement ("Agreement"), which includes -2- the attached Annex, to assist in the financing of the project described in the Annex ("Project'): (a) The amount of three hundred thousand United States Dolars ($590,000) (EGPS TFOA4025); and (b) The amount of two hundred eighl-five thousand United States Dollars ($285,00) (EGPS TF0A6634)." 2. Section 2.01 of the Annex to the Grant Agreement is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following new Section 2.01: "Project Objectives and Description. The objective of the Project is to assist Nigeria in meeting the EITI requirement ftr data timlinass- The Proiect cousists of the ftltowing parts: Part t.: () Provision of tehfikat asstanc for pTodU;tio MA pubctio wi&hin tWo years of the of the 2014 EITI oil and gas report and 2014 EITI solid minerals report within two years of the close of the covered fiscal year; (ii) Provision of technical assistance for production and publication of the 2015 and 2016 oil and gas reports within two years of the close of the covered fiscal year. Part 2: Provision of technical assistance for production and publication of an oil and gas report within 18 months of the close of the covered fiscal year through e-publication of EITI contextual data and automation of collection of data needed for reconciliation." 3. The table under Section 3.01 of the Annex to the Grant Agreement is deleted in its entirety and is replaced with the following table: "Category Original Grant Additional Grant Percentage of TFOA4025 TF0A6634 Expenditures to be Allocated Allocated Financed (expressed in USD) (expressed in USD) (inclusive of Taxes) (1) Consultants' services under Part I 590,000 100% (2) Consultants' and non- 285,000 100%" consultant services, goods, and training under Part 2 -3- 4. Section 3.03 of the Annex shall be deleted and replaced with the following: "3.03. Withdrawal Period. The Closing Date referred to in Section 3.06(c) of the Standard Conditions is April 30, 2020." Please confirn your agreement with the foregoing amendments by signing and dating this Amendment Letter in the spaces provided below. Henceforward, all other provisions of the Agreement, except as amended through this Amendment Letter shall remain in full force and effect. This Amendment Letter shall be executed in two counterparts each of which shall be an original. Upon confirmation, please return one fully executed original to us. The provisions set forth in this Amendment Letter shall become effective as of the date of countersignature upon receipt by the World Bank of the countersigned original of this Amendment Letter.
