The efficient implementation of the Mid Term Review (MTR) agreed action plan by the reinforced PIU helped to accomplish good progress towards achieving key development objective and intermediate result indicators. The disbursement and payment rates continue to increase since the MTR and the PIU is implementing all project activities efficiently and demonstrating readiness to finalize them before the project closing date. A new action plan has been prepared and agreed upon with the PIU which will be closely monitored to ensure the project continues to be on track to achieve its objectives.
