Although project activities have slowed down during the first quarter of 2013, progress is evident in the reconstruction of small community infrastructure, housing and roof rehabilitation and the line of credit to support the small scale fisheries sector. Component 1, which was finalized in August 2012, benefited over 3,900 families from roof rehabilitation, as the target was surpassed. The rest of the project has benefited to date close to 200 families from housing reconstruction. The 30 boats that will be provided through the revolving fund have been acquired and beneficiary groups identified. The construction of six churches, seven community centers and three health centers are underway, and should be finalized within thre (churches and community centers) and six months (health centers).
