Since the start of the Jawtno program implementation in October 2017, services to over 4,000 beneficiaries in the four pilot unions have been ongoing for over a year and have also commenced in some of the new program locations. Antenatal care (ANC), growth monitoring and promotion (GMP) and child nutrition and cognitive development (CNCD) counseling services are being provided on a monthly basis through Community Clinics and CNCD services partner firm, BRAC. Following the approval of the revised Development Project Proforma (DPP) in September 2018, the Project has made significant progress in rolling out to new locations under the revised targeting mechanism. As of February 27, 2019, the total number of enrolled beneficiaries stands at 89,539 beneficiaries in 63 unions across 6 upazilas. The Project is expected to enroll over 350,000 beneficiaries across 250 unions by June 2019.
