Amendment to the Grant Agreement
Excellency:
I.   We refer to the Grant Agreement between the International Development Association ("World
Bank"), acting as administrator of grant funds provided by various donors under the State-and Peace-
Building Multi-Donor Trust Fund, and the Republic of Sudan ("Recipient") effective as November
29, 2016 ("Agreement"). We also refer to your letter dated July 1, 2019 requesting specific
modifications to the Agreement. Please note that the capitalized terms used in this letter
("Amendment") and not defined herein have the meanings ascribed to them in the Agreement as
applicable.
2.   We are pleased to inform you that the World Bank proposes to amend the Agreement as set
forth below.
(a)   paragraph 2 of the Annex to the Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and
replaced with the following:
"2.     The Grant shall be used to finance consultants' services, training,
workshop and travel expenses for the Activities."
3.   All other provisions of the Agreement, except amended herein, shall remain in full force and
effect.

4.   Please confirm your agreement with the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient by signing,
dating and returning to us the enclosed copy of this letter. Upon receipt by the World Bank of the
copy of this letter countersigned by you, this amendment will become effective as of the date of
the countersignature.
