Disbursement continues to improve. In addition, improvements on three major transit corridors and three bus routes have been implemented which resulted in better bus services. However, challenges remain in the following two areas: (a) timely completion of land acquisition and resettlement for the South Bypass in Jianshui County, and (b) proper contract management, especially the large variation orders. The PMO and PEOs are fully aware of the challenges and proper mediation measures have been put into place, including sufficient counterpart funding, adequate field staffing, and support from consultants.
