Amendment to the Grant Agreement
Dear Dr. Muhammad Musa:
We refer to the Grant Agreement between BRAC (the "Recipient") and the International.,
Development Association ("World Bank"), as administrator of grant funds provided by Japan ("Donor' )
under the Japan Social Development Fund, for the benefit of the People's Republic of Banglad'2sh
("Member Country") dated June 21, 2013. We also refer to your letter dated November 24, 2015,
requesting certain amendments to the Grant Agreement.
We are pleased to inform you that after due consideration, the World Bank hereby accedes to
your request and amend the Grant Agreement as follows:
1.     Paragraph 2.01 of Article II to the Annex is amended as follows:
"2.01  Project Objectives and Description. The objective of the Project is to establish
and strengthen Community Based Organizations (CBOs) for improved access and
reliable information at the community level for migrants and their families in 80
Upazilas to make safe migration choices."
2.     Paragraph 3.03 of Article III to the Annex is amended as follows:
"3.03. Withdrawal Period. The Closing Date referred to in Section 3.06 (c) of the
Standard Condition is June 21, 2017."
Except as specifically amended by this letter of amendment, all other provisions of the Grant
Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
The World Bank will disclose this letter of amendment and related information in accordance
with the World Bank's policy on Access to Information. By entering into this letter of amendment, the
Recipient consents to such disclosure.

Please confirm your agreement to the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient by countersigning and
dating the corresponding form of confirmation set forth below, and returning one fully signed original of
this letter to us. Upon receipt by the World Bank of the copy of this letter of amendment duly
countersigned by the authorized representative of the Recipient, the above amendments to the Grant
Agreement shall become effective as of the date of countersignature.
