Under Component 2, Training and dissemination of information, MINERD has advanced on several activities to strengthen the production and use of data, including (i) the drafting of new regulations for inputting, processing, and usage of EMIS data, (ii) the development of plans for an education quality index based on EMIS data, and (iii) the use of EMIS data for identifying personnel needs and measuring performance in the system. In addition, workshops and training sessions for ministry staff in utilizing Microsoft Power Business Intelligence continues, and several consultancies to support improvements in data quality, data management processes, data dissemination, and other activities have been publicized, and contracting is expected to be completed and work underway within the next two months. 8/29/2019 Page 1 of 4 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Strengthening the Capacity to Produce and Use Quality Education Statistics (P163049) Risks Overall Risk Rating Risk Category Rating at Approval Previous Rating Current Rating Overall -- Moderate Moderate 5.
