Seven municipal agriculture offices (covering all four project areas) have adopted the watershed management planning process, translating into subsequent district and village level implementation. Technical proposals for grant funded agriculture and conservation activities have been, and continue to be, prepared by farmer groups and procurement of goods and services is ongoing. In terms of institutional support to the Ministry of Agriculture, technical assistance to MAF for the development of the sector’s M&E system is making satisfactory progress and has also been used to inform a strategic planning exercise initiated by the Minister’s Office. A mid-term review will be conducted during February 2020.
