Overall Ratings Name Previous Rating Current Rating Progress towards achievement of PDO -- Satisfactory Overall Implementation Progress (IP) -- Satisfactory  Implementation Status and Key Decisions The Program was approved by the World Bank’s Board of Directors on December 5, 2017 and became effective on December 14, 2017. An advance of US$ 77 million (about 40 percent of the total Program-for-Results (PForR) loan amount) was disbursed in December to help achieve the Disbursement-Linked Indicators (DLIs) for the first year. The World Bank Task Team conducted the first implementation support mission for the Program from February 25 to March 1, 2018 to hold technical discussions with MOE and other education partners/donors and to launch technical assistance activities planned under the Program. Given the scope of the education program and the involvement of many education partners, the mission provided recommendations for the Ministry of Education (MOE) to significantly strengthen its planning and coordination role, notably through strengthening of the Development Coordination Unit (DCU).
