Over 10,000 households are benefiting from micro-projects under implementationin the four large conservation landscapes funded by the project. Institutional rejuvenation and retraining has been delayed by the postponement of the retirement of senior Environment Ministry officials. The 0.9 million USD reserved for community forestry has been canceled as the decree necessary for its implementation has still not been signed by the Prime Minister. The results framework has been adjusted to take into account these changes, and to include the new World Bank core indicators for direct project beneficiaries and for biodiversity.
