This note presents a snapshot of the results of rapid monitoring phone surveys conducted in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) on public service delivery, and on citizens’ expectations from the government in response to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). To monitor the social and economic impacts of the pandemic, the World Bank is conducting series of COVID-19 rapid monitoring phone surveys of households in Laos. Results presented in this note are drawn from the second survey, unless indicated otherwise.
