Cambodia is now living with COVID-19. Since November 1, 2021, the authorities have relaxed travel restrictions, “reopening” the country for business while continuing to strictly enforce protective health measures. Coronavirus infections and mortalities receded in the fourth quarter of 2021, thanks mainly to the country’s success in rolling out its vaccination program. More than 80 percent of the population received two doses of coronavirus vaccine as of end-November 2021. The required quarantine period for those who havebeen fully vaccinated has been fully lifted since November 15, 2021, as the country is planning to implement an economic recovery plan soon.
