Belarus - Poverty and Equity Brief (English)

Poverty measured by the upper middle-income poverty line of US$5.5 further decreased to 0.2 percent in 2019 from an already low base of 0.4 percent in 2018. Based on the more relevant national poverty line (the minimum subsistence budget), poverty declined from 5.6 percent in 2018 to 5 percent in 2019.
