Announcement of IFC Launches Pounds Sterling Bond Offering on November 26, 1996 (English)

This press release announces on November 26, 1996, that on Friday, November 22, 1996, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) launched a pound sterling 60 million bond issue. The 2½-year fixed-rate notes carry a semiannual coupon of 6.30 percent per annum and an issue price of 100 percent. The proceeds of the issue will be swapped into U.S. dollar floating-rate funds.
