IFC financing to micro, small and medium enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa (English)

IFC is working to develop solutions to close the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME1) financing gap, collaborating with 54 financial institutions (FIs) across 20 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region. As of June 2013, IFC committed a total of $1.9 billion to MSME finance in the SSA Region.
