Education and the labor market in Venezuela, 1975-1984 (English)

This paper examines a number of education-related aspects of Venezuela's labor market in the 1975-84 period using a sample of 40,000 workers from the National Household Survey. The findings indicate that the returns to schooling have declined by only 2 percentage points in a decade of rapid educational expansion.
