This environmental issues paper is aimed at assisting the Government of Jamaica and other interested parties in analyzing the crucial economic and institutional issues affecting the environment in Jamaica. In addition, it identifies key areas for potential external assistance in the environmental sectors. The paper is based on extensive existing work of a technical nature; a bibliography is appended.
