The development objective of the Judicial Reform Support Project for Philippines is to support an accessible judicial system that will foster public trust, and confidence. Negative impacts include: air quality, noise, traffic, waste generation, and aesthetics. Mitigation measures include: 1) proper housekeeping shall be implemented, and regular sprinkling of ground particularly during arid days; 2) proper provision of collection, and proper handling and storage of construction materials; 3) noise generating equipment shall be provided with mufflers, proper maintenance of equipment; 4) equipment utilization shall be scheduled, work hours shall likewise be schedule during daytime only; 5) reusable materials shall be salvaged for future related projects, others shall be sold or given to workers; 6) domestic wastes shall be collected and disposed off with the municipal collection system; 7) vehicles/trucks delivering construction materials shall be regulated; 8) project's design concept that caters to nature shall be considered to further enhance the aesthetic; and 9) proper maintenance of vehicles shall be encouraged.
