This report presents the main findings and recommendations arising from a review of the technical and operational efficiency of the Ethiopia Electric Light and Power Authority (EELPA). The main objective of the review is to identify specific measures which, when implemented, would reduce transmission and distribution system losses to economic levels and improve the efficiency, capacity and availability of generating plants.
