International Finance Corporation (IFC) Board of Governors resolution ; no. 193 : membership of the Republic of Uzbekistan (English)

On September 24, 1992, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Board of Governors adopted resolution number one hundred ninety-three. It was resolved that, by accepting membership in the Corporation, the Republic of Uzbekistan agrees to subscribe to and pay for 3,873 shares of the capital stock of the Corporation at the par value of $1,000 per share and to waive its rights under Article II, Section 2(d) of the Articles of Agreement in connection with the 1992 Special Capital Increase Resolution. Before accepting membership in the Corporation, the Republic of Uzbekistan shall pay $1,356,000 to the Corporation representing payment in full for 1,356 shares of the capital stock subscribed. The balance of 2,517 shares shall be paid for by the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the specifications laid out in this resolution. The Republic of Uzbekistan may fulfill the requirements for membership in the Corporation pursuant to paragraph 5 of this resolution until September 30, 1993, or such later date as the Board of Directors may determine.
