International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) Board of Governors resolution ; no. 185 : membership of Malagasy Republic (English)

On August 20, 1963, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) Board of Governors adopted resolution number one hundred and eighty-five. It was resolved that the by accepting membership in the Bank, the Malagasy Republic shall subscribe to 200 shares of the capital stock of the Bank at the par value of $100,000 per share. Before accepting membership in the Bank, the Malagasy Republic shall accept membership in and become a member of the International Monetary Fund. The Malagasy Republic may accept membership in the Bank pursuant to this resolution until February 20, 1964, provided, however, that, if extraordinary circumstances are deemed by the Executive Directors to warrant an extension of the period during which the Malagasy Republic may accept membership pursuant to this resolution, the Executive Directors may extend such period.
