The Inspection Panel report : August 1, 1994 to July 31, 1996 (English)

The independent Inspection Panel is a three member body created in 1993 to provide an independent forum to private citizens who believe that they or their interests have been or could be directly harmed by a project financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) or the International Development Association (IDA). This report is on the Inspection Panel's structure, initial operations and experience over the first two years of the Panel's existence. It describes the panel members, the operating procedures and the five formal requests to date. For convenience, the text of the Board Resolution and the Panel Operating Procedures are included as annexes.
