On July 29, 1991, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Board of Governors adopted resolution number one hundred seventy-four. It was resolved that, by accepting membership in the Corporation, Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) shall subscribe to 157 shares of the capital stock of the Corporation at the par value of $1,000 per share.
