After-sales service : warranty practices in the retail market (English)

This Technical Note provides a snapshot of existing warranty practices in the retail chain in Tanzania along with suggestions on ways to offer a more effective warranty. These findings are based on surveys conducted with 149 retailers in April and May 2013. This is the second in a series of notes designed to provide guidance to manufacturers and distributors of modern off-grid lighting products for after-sales service, maintenance, and warranty practices.This note presents information from short interviews with retailers in six different towns in the Kilimanjaro and Morogoro regions of Tanzania.See also:http://www.lightingafrica.org/resources/market-research/-market-intelligence.html
