Environmental, health, and safety guidelines for mammalian livestock production : Руководство по охране окружающей среды, здоровья и труда для животноводческого производства (Russian)

The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Guidelines are technical reference documents with general and industry specific examples of Good International Industry Practice (GIIP). The EHS Guidelines for Mammalian Livestock Production includes information relevant to cattle ranching and farming, dairy farming, and hog and pig farming. Sheep and goat farming operations, while not explicitly discussed, are similar to the operations included in this document, and the recommendations presented here are also generally applicable. This document has the following sections:1) Section one provides a summary of EHS issues associated with mammalian livestock production that occur during the operational phase, along with recommendations for their management; 2) Section two describes performance indicators and monitoring; and 3) Section three has references and additional sources. A complete list of industry-sector guidelines can be found at: www.ifc.org/ifcext/enviro.nsf/Content/EnvironmentalGuidelines.
