This report assesses the accessibility, openness, usability and technical functionality of 22 publicly available data portals that features data related to Nepal. This is a purposive and non-probability sample, primarily because there is no exhaustive list of data portals in Nepal that can reliably serve as a sampling frame to draw a random sample. As such, findings in this study are likely to be indicative of common issues in Nepal but cannot be generalized beyond the study sample.
