Responding to COVID-19 in China : A Case Study of Shanghai (English)

Shanghai is one of the world’s largest cities. Densely populated and globally connected, since the occurrence of COVID-19, Shanghai has nevertheless managed to contain the virus and almost eradicate it. The proactive measures Shanghai’s government and businesses took in the first critical months of the outbreak may provide valuable lessons for other cities and countries, facing this or other pandemics.
