Les femmes chefs d'entreprises en Tunisie (Francês)

This research gives some interesting insights on the profile of women entrepreneurs in Tunisia, the problems they face in their activities and on structures and facilities likely to improve their business. It also helps to present some comparisons on several levels between among businesswomen in five Arab countries: Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates and Tunisia. The study also shows the maturity of the woman entrepreneur in Tunisia. It shows that she does not sacrifice her privacy at the expense of the company: the organization, management time, efficiency and support of her family are the major assets of its success. The objectives of this study which aims to explain women entrepreneurs engaged in business in Tunisia, are as follows: 1) Establish the profile of women business leaders in Tunisia, relying on a comparison of profiles of women entrepreneurs from four other countries belonging to the MENA region that have participated in this regional study; 2) To identify problems and obstacles faced by women entrepreneurs, which hinder the smooth running of their activities, 3) Identify structures and facilities likely to help women company leaders to better manage their businesses, and to continue in developing their activities. The study on Tunisian women entrepreneurs, which is part of a project on a regional scale, will help to identify cultural, social and economic aspects common to women entrepreneurs of the five countries. The analysis of these differences may also help them better understand the specifics of each country and have an understanding and an overview of the MENA region.
