China - Fujian Provincial Highway Project : environmental impact assessment (Vol. 6) : The action plan for land requisition & resettlement for Quanzhou-Xiamen Expressway section of Fuzhou-Xiamen Highway (Inglês)

The environmental assessment covers: the atmospheric environmental impact on the area 500 meters from each side of the central line of the proposed expressway; and the noise and vibration studies on the belt area up to 500 meters from each shoulder of the expressway. More specifically, the study assesses the impact on the environment based on the following: 1) atmospheric background quality standard; 2) ambient noise standard for urban areas; 3) maximum permissable concentration of atmospheric pollutants for the protection of agricultural crops; 4) farmland irrigation water quality standards; 5) environmental quality standards of surface water; 6) sea water quality standards; 7) environmental vibration standards in city regions; 8) lead and inorganic compounds hygienic standards of atmosphere; and 9) noise criteria for construction sites.
