Modelling price fluctuations of iron and steel scrap and scrap-based light non-flat steel products (Inglês)

This paper presents a model that solves the interrelationships between price fluctuations of light non-flat steel products and scrap markets. The model is developed as a linear complementarity programming (LCP) problem, which has been applied to a few other minerals and metals industries.
