This report discusses the remarks delivered by Paul Wolfowitz, President of the World Bank. He discusses on malaria programs in Africa to combat the dreadful disease which affects the people, mostly children in the country. He commends the efforts taken by the country to prevent the disease like, Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) which has proven to be extremely effective as it doesn’t allow the mosquitoes to eventually breed pesticide resistant strains. He talks about lifeblood of accountability and transparency in spending the money for eradicating malaria by the country. He concludes by saying that malaria is a preventable disease and that it can be wiped out from the country and assure healthy future for the people.
