Montenegro - Additional Financing for the Institutional Development and Agriculture Strengthening Project : restructuring (Inglês)

The objective of the Additional Financing for the Institutional Development and Agriculture Strengthening Project for Montenegro is to improve delivery of government assistance for sustainable agriculture and rural development in a manner consistent with the EU's pre-accession requirements. The restructuring will entail broadening the project development objectives to widen the typology of beneficiaries receiving grants with a methodology similar to the Instrument of Pre-accession Assistance for Rural Development (IPARD) from agricultural holdings (farmers) to food establishments (agro-processors) and consequently revising the results framework in order to better capture the outcome of the additional activities. The current PDO is to improve delivery of government assistance for sustainable agriculture and rural development in a manner consistent with the EU's pre-accession requirements.
