Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) : annual report 1987 / 88 (Inglês)

During this year in review, two inter-related themes -sustainable agriculture and the breadth of CGIAR sponsorship of international agricultural research- were the focus of concern and activity in 1987 / 88. Both will continue to receive major attention in the foreseeable future. Sustainability was emphasized as part of the CGIAR mission when the Group held its mid-year meeting in May 1988 in Berlin. At this meeting the Group's Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) report was approved. Discussions and proceedings of the Berlin meeting are included in this annual report.
