La problematique des adductions d'eau potable complexes (AEPC) en milieu rural au Rwanda (Francês)

The rural hydraulic environment in Rwanda encompasses two different types of water supply, in terms of its dimensions, and complexity. The simplest water supply generally is water catchment from one, or different sources, commonly based on natural gravity, or from small pumps for local uses. Complex water supply requires a high technical level, such as water treatment or pumping, or both. Population numbers also form part of the equation. This last factor is the subject of this field note, based on different studies conducted among the country's communities, to address the complex issues of the different complex systems, and define the constraints and options for improved management of water supply systems.
