India - Sixth Railways Project (Inglês)

The Sixth Railways Project in India will provide financing to make up part of the arrears in renewals and to increase transportation capacity. The project will consist of the acquisition of locomotives, rolling stock, and other equipment, construction of new lines as well as track doubling, rail and tie renewals, electrification of certain lines, bridge works, yard re-modeling, and other works. This project will meet the operational requirements for India's railways.
