Natural resource management portfolio review (Inglês)

The present review examines the implementation performance and future prospects of a subset of the World Bank's natural resource management portfolio, specifically those projects that have been identified, on the basis of supervision ratings and other criteria, as being actually or potentially "at risk" in terms of the achievement of their development objectives. Examples of good practice, or highly satisfactory NRM projects, are also reviewed. In both cases, the review seeks to identify the key factors associated with satisfactory and unsatisfactory project implementation and outcomes. Particular attention is given to the preparation and design--or "quality at entry"--of these operations.
