The Gendered Impacts of COVID-19 on Labor Markets in Latin America and the Caribbean (English)

High-frequency phone surveys conducted in 13 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) show that women were 44 percent more likely than men to lose their jobs at the onset of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
